|
According to her mother, Miss Ashley sang from the time she was a baby! Miss Ashley remembers the music played and sung in her childhood home, and the singing in church and school. She found her love for children through babysitting and nannying during high school and college, and decided to pursue a career in teaching music to children.
Miss Ashley earned a Bachelor in Music Education at Calvin College. While attending college, she worked as director’s assistant for the Grand Rapids Symphony Prelude Youth Chorus. She was a teacher aide at Breton Downs Elementary, and completed her student-teaching at East Oakview Elementary. She has served as a substitute for home-school music classes and at Ada Christian School.
As a Licensed Kindermusik Educator, Miss Ashley provides a comfortable environment for you and your child to strengthen your bond, and begin your child’s journey toward a lifelong love of music and learning.
